Nose: Reticent at first, with oak, malt and hints of wax. Oranges, cinnamon and saline hints present themselves thereafter.

Palate: Oranges, malt, wax, sea salt, oak, white wine, cinnamon and white pepper.

Finish: Medium to long finish with oranges, wax, malt, cinnamon and drying oak.

An undisclosed Highland malt, albeit one sourced from one of the more famous distilleries which has garnered a cult following over the last few decades. This powerhouse of a distillery is known for producing a waxy style of new make spirit which is definitely made apparent with time when one savours this whisky. This expression was distilled in 2010, matured in a single bourbon barrel for its entire life before being bottled at 10 years of age by The Single Cask.
