WHISKY TASTING NOTES

Nose: Citrusy on initial nosing, but it retains the salty and vegetal character that is representative of the distillery's house style. Lemon, orange peel, freshly baked brioche, cinnamon, vanilla sugar and chewy malt also figure and there is a distant whiff of smoke.

Palate: Rich, sweet and citrusy, with some of the vegetal notes from the nose transferring on to the palate. A fair bit of oak and cinnamon emerge along with some malt and there are hints of orange peel and the brioche, but not as pronounced as on the nose.

Finish: Relatively long on the finish, with a lingering sweetness from the orange peel as well as some spiciness from the cinnamon.
