WHISKY TASTING NOTES

Category: Curious

Nose: We were instantly greeted on the nose with a heady mix of wine gums and blackcurrant Jelly Babies alongside carrot cake, spiced rhubarb crumble, and a touch of mustard powder… just as someone lights a match for the birthday candles!

Palate: The palate brings the party to life with more sweet treats – cinnamon flapjack and ginger cake. Water adds further kitchen delights of egg meringue, sugared boiled sweets, custard and crème brûlée, as well as some calming, and much needed, herbal green tea.

Finish: A slightly unexpected mineralic and mossy finish with a whiff of wood smoke.

FOOD & MOOD RECOMMENDATION

Foodie Pairing: Afternoon tea or desserts – this is the perfect accompaniment to all sweet treats.

Mood Moment: A birthday baking bonanza, this whisky brings a curious celebration.
