CRAIGELLACHIE BACKGROUND

Peter Mackie, the chairman of Craigellachie Distillery in the early 1900s, was described as ‘one third genius, one third megalomaniac and one third eccentric.’  It’s a combination of traits that many of us at The Single Cask can relate to.  We love Craigellachie whisky because its combination of robust body and faint smoke makes it standout from other Speyside single malts. What can we say, we’re drawn to unusual and quirky scotch.  And people.
