WHISKY TASTING NOTES

Category: Curious

Nose: Fields of summer grasses, aged hay and almonds kick things off, morphing with hints of Mezcal as the whisky gets a little air.

Palate: On the palate, smoke really comes to the fore, yet always with a backdrop of sweetness and pine enduring through the long finish.  Adding water brings a herbaceous note to the whisky and draws out more of the bourbon cask influence, complimenting the whispers of sweet Mezcal. The palette keeps the smoke up front but has a little more mineral edge.

Finish: The finish brings a return to the sweet, fermented hay of the original nose.
