WHISKY TASTING NOTES

Category: Bold

Nose: Amidst the juicy familiarity of stewed apples and crushed pears, the peated cask delivered a remarkable dimension of smoked mackerel and game meat, alongside burning heather and gorse. The sweet apples began to turn into scorched fruit, presented on salty driftwood beside anchovies in oil.

Palate: The palate too was a remarkable dichotomy, fragrant fruit combining with pine needles and earthy peat. Smoked duck emerged to add to the intrigue, fading into iodine and seaweed on the finish.
