WHISKY TASTING NOTES

Nose: Rich and inviting, opening with waves of sweet Madagascan vanilla and golden honeycomb. There is a distinct tropical edge with creamy coconut hints, likely drawn from the American oak. Underlying these sweeter notes is a subtle, savoury maritime character—slightly briny and fresh—complemented by polished antique oak.

Palette: A powerful and warming delivery at cask strength. The palate is initially sweet with notes of malted barley and more of that honeyed richness, but quickly evolves into a complex spice profile. Warm cinnamon stick and cracked black pepper provide a lively heat that cuts through the creamy texture. The coconut notes return, toasted this time, alongside a touch of salt.

Finish: Long and resonant, driven by the spices. The black pepper and cinnamon linger on the tongue, slowly fading to reveal a dry, woody oak finish with a final, sweet echo of vanilla pod.
